Universe Codename: Hope
Cyno scale: ???
Current Universe: CYN-113333-FR
Notes:

Entry #2. It has come to my attention that before I begin visiting universes and noting down data, I should begin by explaining how the process works. Since memories and emotions serve to be unreliable (source: myself), writing it down physically and uploading it should make it more secure. However, it seems as though universes can also be fallible (source: myself). Regardless, I view this site as an extra security measure.

The power stems from my Starcore. For those who have not yet understood what it is, the “Starcore” is something that is unique to me. Of course, since I discovered that there exists near infinite universes, and by extension, near infinite “me”s, “unique” may not be an adequate term to describe the Starcore. Nonetheless, it is unique to “Cyno”s.

I have done extensive research on the Starcores, although my efforts have not been rewarded. I was able to find out that all “Cynos” have a Starcore buried within them, a latent ability that needs a trigger to be released. It seems that any Cyno without an awakened Starcore is working at half capacity, perhaps even less. The trigger could be anything. A particularly sensitive Cyno could trigger her Starcore by stubbing her toe. It seems the more traumatic the event, however, the stronger the Starcore. I suppose you could call this a silver lining.

It seems the Starcore also responds to wishes. For the former example, if at the moment that Cyno stubbed her toe, she was thinking “I wish I didn’t feel this pain”, her Starcore would try to fulfil that wish to the best of its capacity. Perhaps it would make her unable to feel pain. I have not been able to observe the moment of change. Almost every Cyno I have met already has an awakened Starcore. Except for the one in this world.

I have not yet determined if the Starcore is a physical core, or if it is simply a release of energy. I am also not sure how the Cynos find out what power they have. As I have little memory of my past, I also do not know how I found out about my abilities. When I woke up… I… Nevermind.

My powers are channelled through my Starcore, which has spawned a third eye. With this eye, I can simply look into other universes. I cannot speak, nor can I hear. However, due to my observations and experimentation, I have been able to build something that allows me to listen and communicate in other worlds as well. I call it my M4SK. It stands for Machine 4(for) Searching Knowledge. I made it up myself.

I am not without limits. Although my third eye can see into other universes, it does not mean that it is constantly looking. I usually settle into my chair, put on the M4SK, and activate my ability. It transports my consciousness into another universe. I can listen, speak, and see. Because this application of my Starcore goes beyond my base power, creating a holographic form takes more energy. As a result, I may look slightly… Smaller than usual. Rest assured I am normal sized in my own lab. I also have plugs that originate from my body that easily relay information back into my computer and N04A. It is also important to note that although I have the ability to speak, I hardly ever do. It is better to not have contact with the other Cynos. The consequences are unknown.

At maximum capacity, I could possibly visit 2-3 universes per day. However, I prefer to take my time in order to do my research fully rather than make premature assumptions. I once overlooked and marked a universe as not having a Cyno. Upon further review, I found out that a Cyno did, in fact, exist. She was simply microscopic in size. In order to avoid making the same mistake, I will most likely dedicate several days to a universe, perhaps revisit some at times, and move methodically.

Although I do not require sleep, my mental processes may slow and halt if I work without pause. I have done experiments to push my limits, but wish not to replicate them.

This entry has ended up longer than I expected. I can acknowledge why Cyno [Streamer] enjoys streaming so much. I much prefer staring at a screen.
