Notes:
Entry #14. Today I explored a new universe, titled CYS-10398952-FR. It took me a while to locate the source of the Cyno energy once I narrowed it down to the planet. It was almost as if it was muffled by something. I searched the whole world a whole time over but could not locate where she was. Then I realised: she may not be on land.
Once I had this realisation, I started searching the sea for any sign of her. Although the signal was stronger, it was still soft, as if it was squished next to cotton. Regardless, I followed the weak signal until I was right on top of it. I was hovering above the sea. She was beneath the water. As I am not used to navigating under the ocean, it took me a while to locate her actual physical form, as she was swimming in the Twilight Zone when the energy signals were captured. As I was nearing her location, she began to descend lower and lower, until finally, I saw her in the Abyssopelagic Zone.
Usually, Cynos have several visual traits that make them easy to spot. Mismatched eyes, some sort of bluish hue combined with white hair. Sometimes, the hair may be grey. Sometimes, the blue hue dips into green, or purple. But regardless, they would be recognizable, even when they look like a tiger. But I found myself unable to recognize the creature in front of me. Even when the radar confirmed a match on her energy levels, I still paused. How does one begin to describe her?
This planet that she inhabits greatly resembles CYN-113333-FR, Cyno [Streamer]’s universe. Your universe. There are humans, milling about aimlessly, animals, flying and hunting and eating, and the physics seem to be similar as well. Yet, this Cyno seems to have utilised her Starcore to evolve into some half-human, half-deepsea creature.
The closest match to something you all know would be a mermaid, except without the shiny scales and beautiful colours. She had the body and face of a human: how it withstood the crushing gravity of the sea, I cannot explain. Perhaps it was Starcore's magic. Her hair was long and white, with streaks of bioluminescence threaded between. From the back of her head dangled a light, similar to an anglerfish, swishing on and off, back and forth, changing with her emotions. The pièce de résistance was her tail: it was so clear it was almost translucent, with rainbow lights flickering on the sides. She wasn’t wearing any clothes, but had something similar to seaweed either growing or laying on her chest.
In the deep sea, creatures tend not to move too much to reserve energy. This Cyno was no different: she was floating, looking rather bored. Since she inhabits the deep sea, I will call her Cyno [Hadal].
I monitored her closely, but she does not seem to have contact with humans at all. In fact, I believe she is unable to speak any human languages. The closest thing to sound I heard from her was when she was emitting high frequencies under water to communicate to a pod of killer whales. She spends her days floating, eating, and generally just existing. I am not sure if she is capable of thought, even.
Other than a select number of marine animals, she does not seem to communicate with other beings at all, and when she does, it is quite short and concise. There does seem to be a little jellyfish that is intent on following wherever she goes, and she has begrudgingly allowed it. She seems to be rather good natured, as she does not kill for sport, but rather eats when she needs to, and takes good care of her jellyfish.
Despite her interesting form, I am not sure how she would help in any way: I am not sure if she would even be able to exist above this pressure, or what her reaction to the sun would be. I am also not sure what type of situation she was in that caused her to become like this, nor the extent of her powers.
I doubt her potential's that high, as her current abilities seem to be focused on survival, meaning there is not much room for excess. I will return tomorrow to conduct more research.
