Notes:
Entry #12. Today, I returned to exploring universes. I was rather hesitant to return, as it seems that I had encountered something… abnormal recently. Searching my data cache ends up drawing blanks. I am aware of a new YouTube channel that has been created under the name Cyrensurae. My logs state that she is a safe entity, although I cannot find the reason why. Regardless, I should trust my previous findings: the computer never errs. However, this computer does bring me to useless universes like this one.
The planet that this Cyno, aptly dubbed Cyno [Butter], inhabits does not have extensive technology. I believe that they may be currently in their early technological advancement era, with steam trains and huge analog computers. Other than this “steampunk” vibe, the world seems to operate as normal. As normal as it can be.
Society here is split into two factions, more or less. This is typical of societies that are not fully developed, with the main faction believing they are the only ones deserving of power, taking from those who they see as “lesser”. In this universe, it is unfortunate to note that those who are intelligent and capable of inventing new things are cast out to the bottom of the food chain. They are either shunned and unable to find funding for their projects, living in poverty, or they are working directly under those with power, abused and squeezed dry. In a dog eat dog world like this, there is not much room for kindness. Yet some fools still have this unfortunate affliction.
Cyno [Butter] seems to be one of them.
In CYS-15118121-FR, Cyno [Butter] is a simple star, with a bakery in a back alleyway, the fringes of society. Not yet submerged the dark depraved depths of the underbelly, yet not fully in the shining brilliance of the main city. It is in this little dingy shop, with broken signs and creaky wood boards, that she wakes up at 5am and begins baking various types of baked goods.
That is it.
She does not appear to be rich. There are some regulars that come into her shop, her foods cost a regular amount considering the economy of this city, and it is not as if there is magic in the bread. It is just… bread. She bakes bread. Alone.
I did not see a reason to stay after her work day was over, thus I returned back to write this somewhat lukewarm blog post on her life. I do not think she will be of use in my plan whatsoever. I hesitate to even return tomorrow, but leaving after one day does not lend to a rigorous exploration. Thus, I will see her again tomorrow.
