This Cyno [Sea] lives in a world quite similar to CYN-113333-FR. The interesting part of this universe is less the world itself, but rather the story of this particular Cyno. See, Cynos usually end up utilising her power to help others. This Cyno, however, simply stays alive. It seems as though she may have miscalculated her Earth landing, and as a result, she fell into the sea instead of a piece of land. Tossed around by the unforgiving waves, she found herself unable to break through the surface. Instead, she sank, slowly, the pressure of the world above her, the stars fading away.

Faced with immense pressure and lack of air, her Starcore kicked into action in order for her to survive. She essentially went through a split second evolution, becoming translucent and bioluminescent. A deep sea mermaid. I also believe that she can control water to some extent, although it does not seem to extend to anything overly powerful. She has been seen mostly playing around with currents, drying others off, or creating bubbles of air under water.

In her free time, she usually swims around the abyssal zone, floating around aimlessly and meeting various monstrous fish. On occasion, she also dives deep into the hadalpelagic zone if she wishes for more alone time.

Because of where she lives, she has little to no contact with humans on a day to day basis. She also did not learn to speak the human language, or any language at all. Under the water, the world is often dark and soundless. She does not usually make sounds as well.

Despite this, she has been caught on camera several times by divers, although she remains a myth for the larger part, sort of like “Bigfoot” in your world, or the “Loch-Ness Monster”. Humans as a whole do not believe in her existence. She seems capable of taking care of herself, although her fear of humans and lack of communication make her an unlikely ally. Since she has saved another human-turned-merman, she has been living with him under the sea and seems to be less bored. They spend their days doing exactly what she was doing alone, but together. I think they’re rather cute together, but Aino would reprimand me for showing too much “emotion”. Like man, just because you can’t feel… Anyway, I will take great pleasure in watching their relationship blossom, and I sure as hell hope they don’t break up. Not sure what they would do then… 

Fun Fact: Cyno [Hadal] communicates with the newly minted scientist-merman under the sea via a mixture of self-made sign language and electrical impulses through their bodies. At times she even warns him of danger through the currents in the waves. Her pet jellyfish is quite jealous of their relationship and actively tries to break them apart, although it can’t seem to do much. Cyno [Hadal] and the merman are now seeking to find a mate for the jellyfish so that it can have its own happy ending.
